The blower, air handler, electrical connections, condenser/evaporator coils, safety controls, and refrigerant pressure are all crucial to keeping your air conditioner running right. If you have issues with any of these components, you may notice that your system is building up ice, making loud sounds, causing musty/burnt smells, running continuously, blowing warm air, or barely blowing at all.

While problems with your A/C typically aren’t dangerous, they can be extremely uncomfortable and, if ignored, A/C issues can quickly cost you hundreds in energy. If you are experiencing any issues with your air conditioner, it’s best to shut the system down and contact an HVAC professional right away!

Frequently Asked Questions

Replacing your air conditioner can be costly.

In most cases, A/C issues only require minor repairs that are considerably more affordable than a full replacement. If we find severe issues with your A/C, we may recommend you invest in a new unit rather than need ongoing repairs.

An A/C repair is normally cheaper than a replacement. However, over time multiple repairs can become costly. Without seeing and/or knowing the system we can’t give an exact estimate. Reach out to us and we’d be happy to help.

It’s important to always keep the area around the condenser unit (the outdoor portion of your A/C system) clear of overgrowth, leaves, branches, and other debris.

Before an HVAC technician arrives you should create a clear path to the air conditioner/HVAC system so we can easily perform the diagnostic checks and maintenance. We will also need some space for our tools.

A trained technician will arrive and once shown the system, will begin evaluating the cooling system. Once the issues are found either replacement parts will be installed or put on order to be installed at a later date.
